Montenegro authorities arrest FutureNet co-founder for alleged involvement in $21M crypto scam

Montenegro authorities have arrested Roman Ziemian, co-founder of crypto project FutureNet, for his alleged involvement in a $21 million worth of crypto scam, Cointelegraph reported. South Korea and Poland (Ziemian’s motherland) have issued an arrest warrant, accusing Ziemian of committing fraud, money laundering and theft. The police revealed that Ziemian might face life imprisonment in South Korea. Ziemian will appear before a Podgorica High Court judge to decide whether to extradite him. In mid-2020, South Korean authorities started investigating FutureNet after 950 people claimed they had lost millions investing in the project.
