Nepal News - Nepal's caretaker Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli fell into his own party. The anti-Nepal Communist Party (NCP) faction terminated Oli's membership in the party on Sunday evening. However, it was decided three days ago that there are now few leaders left in support of Oli and he can be removed from the party at any time. There is a dissolution of parliament in Nepal and there is a caretaker government there. Narayan Qazi Shrestha, spokesperson of the anti-faction, told the news agency on Sunday evening - Nepal's caretaker Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's membership of Nepal Communist Party has been terminated.
Prachanda's committee decided
According to a report in the Himalayan Times - The decision to end Oli's membership was made by the committee of former Prime Minister Pushp Kamal Dahal aka Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal. It was also stamped at the party's standing committee meeting on Sunday. There was a lot of resentment about Oli's recent decisions in the party. He was asked for clarification, but he did not appear before the committee. New elections may be held in Nepal from March to April this year.
Letter sent to Ollie's house
After the party decided to end the membership of Oli, a letter was sent to Balwaters (Prime Minister's residence). It has been written that the Standing Committee has decided to end his membership. A few days ago, this committee removed him from the post of party president.
Country protest
Oli, who is soft towards China and has a tough attitude towards India, has been facing opposition since March. Three former Prime Ministers of the country have opened a front against him. Ollie's problem is that there are corruption charges against him. When they were asked for their answers in Parliament, they dissolved the Parliament by putting the Constitution on hold.
Now the country's Supreme Court is hearing 13 petitions filed against dissolution of Parliament. Meanwhile, rallies are being held against Oli in the capital Kathmandu and other parts of the country almost every day.
